CESAR GARCIA represented by ELLEN CHARAPKO GALLERY is accepted
into NMCAH exhibit in New York City.
The National Museum of Catholic Art and History, and Christina
Cox, NMCAH Executive Director, welcome Cesar Garcia, Miami artist,
into a prestigious group exhibition in honor of the Pope’s visit
to New York and Washington, DC this April.
Pope Benedict XVI will be visiting both New York City and Washington,
DC this coming April 2008. The National Museum of Catholic Art
and History in the Upper East-side of New York City will acknowledge
His Eminence's extraordinary visit with a special group exhibit
in Pope Bendict’s honor featuring some of the world’s most innovative
international artists such as Fred Villanueva, Paul A. Gatto,
Henry Bermudez, Frank Hyder, Virginia Maksymowicz, Sydia Reyes,
Sandra Bowden, Carlos Pereira, Fabio D’ Aroma, Tito, Muriel Castanis,
Fernando Botero, Andy Warhol and Dutch master Sir Anthony Van
Dyck to name a few.
Cesar Garcia, represented by the ELLEN CHARAPKO GALLERY in Wilton
Manors, South Florida, was chosen by curator, Mariavelia Savino,
to participate in this prestigious exhibition. One of his paintings,
The Last Supper, has been accepted into the Museum’s permanent
collection. In all, 14 of Cesar’s artworks will be on display.
The current SELECTED WORKS GROUP EXHIBITION at the ELLEN CHARAPKO
GALLERY features some of Cesar Garcia’s latest artwork. The gallery
is located in Broward County at 2374 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors,
